How to: Copy and paste data to or from a DOS application.
Solution:
Use the commands available from the 'Edit' submenu in the DOS application window menu.
NOTE: Data cannot be cut from a DOS application. Data can be copied from a DOS application to the clipboard only when running in a window, not in full screen.
1) To copy data to the Windows clipboard:
a) Run the DOS application in a window.
b) Open the DOS window menu by clicking on the icon at the top-left corner of the DOS window.

c) Select 'Edit'. (A submenu appears.)
d) Select 'Mark' from the 'Edit' submenu.
e) Click and drag the mouse in a diagonal motion to select a block of text.
f) Press ENTER to copy the selection to the Windows clipboard.
2) To paste data from the Windows clipboard into a DOS application:
a) Run the DOS application in a window.
b) Position the cursor where the data is to be pasted.
c) Open the DOS window menu by clicking on the icon at the top-left corner of the DOS window.
d) Select 'Edit'. (A submenu appears.)
e) Select 'Paste'.
